Compassionate expertise, sunrise smiles
Born in Iraq and raised in London, England—where his father worked as an air traffic controller—Dr. Haider Kalhan brings a warm, global perspective and a passion for clinical excellence to Sunrise Dental Everett.
Dr. Kalhan earned his Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) degree in 2005 and his Master of Orthodontics in 2007, graduating near the top of his class and ranking 2nd out of 330 graduates. In 2014, he completed further post-doctoral advanced training in general dentistry through the Northwest Dental Residency in Toppenish, Washington.
With advanced clinical expertise spanning dental implants, All-on-X full-arch restorations, orthodontics (Invisalign® and braces), cosmetic and restorative dentistry, oral surgery, and sleep apnea therapy, Dr. Kalhan provides comprehensive, life-changing care under one roof.
He is an Academic Member of the American Association of Orthodontists (enabling him to lecture and teach nationwide), a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists (allowing him to lecture and teach globally), and an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Born and raised in Northern California near Sacramento, Dr. Gary Chin earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry-Biology from the University of the Pacific in Stockton before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco.
With over 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Chin provides comprehensive general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry for families in Everett. His clinical procedures include tooth extractions, root canals, composite fillings, custom dentures, dental implant crown restorations, Invisalign® orthodontics, full-mouth reconstruction, and periodontal services such as scaling and root planing, bone grafts, and gum grafts.
Dr. Chin has been honored multiple times as one of America’s Top Dentists in Cosmetic Dentistry and Esthetic Restoration. Happily married for over 30 years with a son, he is an active member of the Bible Baptist Church in Everett and enjoys fishing, gardening, hiking, painting, sculpting, and playing musical instruments in his free time.
Dr. Cuong Luu migrated to the United States from Vietnam as a child and grew up right here in the Greater Seattle area. He graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Microbiology, completed postgraduate work in Hawaii, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dr. Luu is dedicated to delivering high-quality, comprehensive dental care with a gentle touch—prioritizing patient comfort, clear communication, and customer satisfaction above all else.
